The AGM of the Central European Association was hosted for the first time at St George's at Ascentiontide. About a dozen ringers from Germany, the Netherlands, northern France and England made the long journey to be here, and were welcomed by the eight members of our own band who were here. Extensive use was made of both tower bells and handbells, with two peals and five quarters being scored. We had three practices in the tower during the weekend, which were of huge benefit to our ringers. We made good use of the local facilities, with group meals at le Camp de Base, le Jardin du Jasmin, le Cortal and Au fil de Temps (Casteil).
